1. Who these terms cover
These terms apply to all services provided by Anjos.studio ("the Studio", "I", "me"), operated by Rafael Anjos, to business clients ("you"). By subscribing to a monthly plan or purchasing a one-off service, you agree to these terms. Services are provided to businesses, not consumers.
2. The services
Subscription plans (Presence, Found): ongoing website design, build, hosting, maintenance, and local search work as described on the plan pages, billed monthly in advance.
One-off services (Deep SEO Audit, Google Ads builds, Consulting): fixed-scope, fixed-price work as described on each service page, paid in full before work begins.
3. Payment
Subscription fees are collected monthly in advance by Direct Debit (via GoCardless) unless agreed otherwise in writing. One-off services are payable up front by bank transfer, payment link, or PayPal. If a payment fails or is cancelled without notice, work and hosting may be paused until payment is restored. Prices exclude third-party costs you pay directly, such as advertising spend, domain registration, and premium tools agreed with you in advance.
4. Cancellation
Subscriptions are month to month. Either of us may cancel with 30 days' written notice (email is fine), effective at the end of the next billing period. There are no exit fees. One-off services, once started, are non-refundable, as the work is the deliverable.
5. Websites, hosting, and ownership
During an active subscription, the website build, theme, and hosting arrangement remain the property of the Studio; this is why no build fee is charged. Your content is always yours: your text, images, logo, brand, customer data, and your domain name remain your property at all times. On cancellation, I will provide your content in a portable format on request. Transfer of the full site build after cancellation can be arranged and quoted separately.
6. What I promise, and what nobody can
I commit to delivering the work described in your plan diligently and to a professional standard. I do not and cannot guarantee specific search rankings, traffic levels, or revenue outcomes: search engines and advertising platforms are third parties outside anyone's control. Anyone who guarantees rankings is misleading you.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate business information, respond to reasonable requests for content and approvals, ensure you hold rights to any materials you supply, and use the services lawfully. You are responsible for the accuracy of claims made about your own business.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Studio's total liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, or for downtime or actions caused by third-party platforms (hosting providers, search engines, advertising networks, payment processors). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Confidentiality and case studies
I keep your business information confidential. I may reference completed work and anonymised results as case studies; if you prefer your project not to be shown publicly, tell me and it won't be.
10. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing the subscription after that constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
